North Bend, Oregon

North Bend is located on the scenic Oregon coast about 115 miles north of the Oregon/California border. It is home to a regional airport and, along with nearby Coos Bay, functions as the financial and commercial center of the region. It also serves as a base of operations for visitors participating in a wide variety of outdoor activities available in the vicinity, including beachcombing, camping, fishing, hunting, boating, surfing, dune riding, hiking, scuba diving, wind surfing, clamming, horseback riding, swimming, picnicking, and sightseeing.
The climate in North Bend is relatively mild year round. Temperatures low enough to allow even fleeting snowfall are a rarity. Summers are dry and comfortable with highs generally topping out around 70 degrees.
