Astoria/Seaside KOA
Astoria/Seaside KOA is located on Hwy. 101 in Hammond, directly across from Fort Stevens State Park. It is a commercially operated campground with both landscaped and natural settings. Amenities include: RV and tent sites; cabin and lodge rentals; an indoor pool and spa; playgrounds; a grocery store; volleyball and basketball courts; fire pits; a rec room with a big-screen TV; a game room; horseshoe pits; and bicycle rentals. Barview Jetty County Park
Barview Jetty County Park is located on the north shore of Tillamook Bay. This spacious park has ocean beach access, covers 160 acres, and includes 224 tent and 69 RV sites as well as a hiker/biker camp. Other facilities: a dump station and ADA restrooms and showers. Nearby recreation: an 18-hole golf course, hiking trails, bike trails, fishing, and a full-service marina. Open year-round. Reservations: (503) 322-3522 or parks@co.tillamook.or.us.

Cape Lookout State Park
Cape Lookout State Park is located off Hwy. 101, 12 miles southwest of Tillamook on Whiskey Creek Rd. The park is situated on a sand spit between Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean and provides visitors with unique views of the sea and easy access to the beach. Hiking and walking trails wend through old-growth forest and the Cape Lookout trail traces the headland for over two miles. Amenities include: 38 full hookup, one electric, and 173 tent (maximum 60 feet) sites; 13 yurts; group tents (two areas); three cabins (with bathrooms, kitchen, tv/vcr), a hiker/biker camp; showers; ADA restrooms; and a dump station. Castle Rock Campground
Castle Rock Campground is located off Hwy. 22, between Hwy. 18 and Hwy. 101, four miles from Hebo. It offers four tent sites with tables and fire rings in an inland, forested environment. Facilities include a vault toilet, water, and refuse receptacles. Campsites are free on a first come, first served basis. Call (503) 392-3161 for more information.

Fort Stevens State Park
Fort Stevens State Park is located near Hammond, off 101 approximately a half-mile south of mile post 9. This location served as a primary military installation until the end WW II; now it is a 3,700 acre park offering diverse educational and recreational opportunities. The park contains three lakes used for swimming, fishing and boating. The campground has 174 full hookup, 302 with water and power,19 tent, and several RV sites; 15 yurts; and hiker/biker campsites. Amenities and activities include showers; full ADA restrooms; a nature/visitor center; beach access, a bicycle trail, museums, windsurfing, a horse trail, a walking trail, playgrounds, bird watching, boat ramps; and a hiking trail. Hebo Lake Campground
Hebo Lake Campground is located on Forest Service Rd. 14, which intersects with Hwy. 22 at Hebo 1/4 mile south of HWY. 101. It features: 15 tent, auto, and trailer sites (available on a first come, first served basis); tables; vault toilets; fire rings, garbage receptacles; hiking trails; and a fishing dock. At this writing (Aug. 2008) there was no potable water available. Open Mid April to Mid November. Call (503) 392-3161 for information.

Kilchis River Park
Kilchis River Park is located at the end of Kilchis River Rd., which connects to Hwy. 101 southeast of Bay City via Alderbrook Rd. This park offers 63 riverfront RV/tent and hiker/biker sites in a pleasant grassy setting. Amenities include hiking trails, a playground, and a boat launch that gives access to river fishing. Nehalem Bay State Park
Nehalem Bay State Park is located off Hwy. 101 three miles south of Manzanita Junction. It lies on a sand spit with Nehalem Bay on one side and a long, sandy beach overlooked by Neahkahnie Mountain on the other. Its many amenities include: 265 electrical sites with water;18 yurts; paved parking; picnic tables; a fire ring at all sites; ADA showers and flush toilets; a horse camp with 17 primitive sites; a hiker/biker camp; an airport camp with six primitive sites (for fly-in campers only); an RV dump station; playgrounds; a meeting hall; and universal access (three campsites and all yurts are accessible to campers with disabilities). The campground is separated from the ocean by sheltering dunes. Within the park there are several hiking, biking and horse trails and a boat ramp that provides access to fishing and crabbing on the bay. Open Year-round. Nehalem Falls Campground
Falls Campground is located at mile point seven on Foss Rd., accessed by following Hwy. 53 from the Hwy. 101 junction and going south on Miami Foley Rd. before heading east on Foss Rd. It is adjacent to the Nehalem River and scenic Nehalem Falls, surrounded by large old-growth Douglas-fir, cedar, spruce, and hemlock. The campground features: 14 drive-in sites, one group site (by reservation only - (503) 815-7068), and four walk-in tent sites; vault toilets; drinking water from a hand pump; and a dumpster. Each campsite has a picnic table, a fire grate, and a tent pad—they are available on a first come, first served basis. Open Memorial Day through October 31. Call (503) 842-2545) for information.

Oswald West State Park
As of this writing, August 2008, the following notice was posted by the Oregon State Parks Department: Note: The campground at Oswald West is closed until further notice. We are studying the health of the trees in the campground—many are very large and very old—so we can develop options that balance the needs of the forest with your need for recreation. Please consider one of our other nearby campgrounds (Nehalem Bay, Fort Stevens and Cape Lookout).

Pacific City Thousand Trails
Pacific City Thousand Trails is located on Hwy. 101 in Cloverdale. This is a commercially operated campground that is only open to campers with a Thousand Trails Membership. This 105-acre preserve sits amid tall spruce trees and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The beach and Cape Kiwanda sand dunes are within walking distance. It offers numerous amenities: 42 full hookup, 293 power and water, and 15 overflow sites; eight trailer, four cottage, six cedar cabin, and four getaway cabin rentals; an adult center; a basketball court; beach access; a family center; fire rings; food service; horse corrals; a horse trail to the beach; horseshoe pits; laundry facilities; mini-golf; nature trails; a pickleball court; a playground; RV storage; a sanitation station; a store; shuffleboard courts; a swimming pool; a volleyball court, and Wi-Fi access. Seaside Thousand Trails
Seaside Thousand Trails is located off Hwy. !01 in Seaside. This is a commercially operated campground that is only open to campers with a Thousand Trails Membership. It offers numerous amenities: 210 full hookups and expanded tent areas; 21 trailer, six TT cabin, and three getaway cabin rentals; a basketball court; a BBQ patio, a 32-inch big-screen TV; a restaurant; a clubhouse, a fitness room; DSL Internet access; handicapped RV sites; horseshoe pits; an indoor pool and spa; a laundry facility; picnic areas; playgrounds; mini golf; RV storage; a store, a sauna; tennis and pickleball courts; and Wi-Fi access. Sand Lake Recreation Area - Siuslaw National Forest
Sand Lake Recreation Area is located off Hwy. 101 south of Tillamook between Cape Lookout and Cape Kiwanda. It encompasses 1,076 acres of open sand dunes, surrounded by forests to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. There are three developed OHV campgrounds and one dispersed OHV camp spread out through the recreation area. Derrick Road OHV Dispersed Camp - Sand Lake Recreation Area
This camp is for primitive OHV camping only. It provides access to the northern end of the OHV area. Facilities: Vault toilets and drinking water. Campers in dispersed areas of the Sand Lake Recreation Area must have and use a portable toilet. Camping is on a first come, first served basis. Open All Year. Call (503) 392-3161 for information.

Sand Beach OHV Campground - Sand Lake Recreation Area
Sand Beach is a fairly large campground offering 101 tent, auto, and trailer sites. Amenities include: tables, vault and flush toilets, fire rings, drinking water, and paved parking. This campground provides easy OHV dune and beach access. Reservations are required on sites one through 60 between the first Saturday of May and the last Saturday of September. Trask River County Campground/Park is located about 12 miles east of Tillamook on the Trask River, near the end of Trask River Rd. It is situated in a beautiful evergreen forest and offers natural campsites with river access.
