Alfred A. Loeb State Park

Alfred A. Loeb Park is located northeast of Brookings—near the Oregon/California border—about ten miles off Hwy. 101 on North Bank Chetco Rd. It features camping, swimming, fishing and hiking, boat put in, electricity and water. The park is situated in a grove of myrtlewood trees along the Chetco River. All campsites are first come, first served. There are 48 electrical sites (maximum site 50 feet) and three rustic cabins. Cabins must be reserved: 800-452-5687. Open May 1 to September 30. Bandon-Port Orford KOA

This KOA commercially operated campground is located between Bandon and Port Orford on Hwy. 101 at mile marker 291. It is close to the beach and includes eight acres of woodsy campsites, a playground, a heated pool, and a hot tub. For more information call (541) 348-2358 or Email: koakamp@harborside.com. Bastendorff Beach County Park

Bastendorff Beach Park is located on Cape Arago Highway approximately two miles west of Charleston. Its 89 acres overlook the Pacific Ocean and beach access is nearby. The campground consists of 91 campsites surrounded by large trees and coastal foliage. Campsites are available on a first come, first served basis. Facilities include: 56 RV sites with water and electrical hookups; 35 tent campsites; handicap accessible restrooms; and showers. A handicap accessible site and hiker/bicyclist sites are also available. Open year-round. For more information call (541) 888-5353.

Bluebill Campground - Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area

Bluebill campground is located 1 1/2 miles north of North Bend on Horsfall Beach Rd. The campground is situated in shorepine, waxmyrtle and huckleberry near Bluebill Lake. It has 18 tent, auto, trailer sites and its amenities are limited to potable drinking water, flush toilets, garbage containers, fire rings, a recycle center, and tables. The surrounding environment is suitable for fishing, hiking, and bird-watching. For reservations or more information: recreation.gov or (877) 444-6777. Open May 1 to September 30.

Boice-Cope County Park

Boice-Cope County Park is a small county park on Floras Lake, located three miles west of Highway 101 off Floras Lake Loop Road south of Langlois. Its campground has 34 sites—available on a first come, first served basis—22 of which are paved spaces with water, but no hookups. Restrooms and showers are available. Floras Lake is very popular with wind-surfers, hikers and birders; boating is permissible. For additional information call (541) 247-3385).

Bullards Beach State Park

Bullards Beach Park is located on Hwy. 101 just two miles north of Bandon. It is a large family-oriented campground nestled among shore pines that provide protection from strong ocean breezes. This park features: 104 full hookup and 81 electrical (maximum 64 feet) sites; 13 yurts; a horse camp with eight sites and three single corrals, three double corrals, and two four-space corrals; two reservable picnic shelters; one reservable group meeting hall; and a hiker/biker camp. Cape Blanco State Park

Cape Blanco Park is located off Hwy. 101, nine miles north of Port Orford. Its features include: 53 camping and RV sites with electricity and water; four cabins; a horse camp with eight sites and four double corrals; a group tent; a hiker/biker camp; and eight miles of trails with many ocean vista, woodland, and wetland settings. The park is also home to the Hughes House and Cape Blanco Lighthouse, which are open to the public April to October. The rest of the park is open year-round. Half Moon Bay County Park

Half Moon Bay Park is located near Winchester Bay, one mile west on Salmon Harbor Drive from Hwy. 101. This relatively new campground for off road enthusiasts features 45 large first come, first served campsites and five reservable group sites. It is close to ocean beaches, the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, ocean fishing, crabbing, the Umpqua Lighthouse and the town of Winchester Bay. For more information call (541) 957-7001

Harris Beach State Park

Harris Beach Park, located just north of Brookings on Hwy. 101, contains 86 RV camping sites (with electricity and sewer) and 63 tent sites. The park also includes Bird Island, a National Wildlife Sanctuary, and sandy beaches interspersed with eroded sea stacks. Other amenities: cable TV hookups (in selected campsites); Wi-Fi access; six yurts; and a hiker/biker camp. For information only, call (541) 469-2021 or (800) 551-6949. Horsfall Beach OHV Campground - Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area

Horsfall Beach OHV Campground is on the southern tip of the Oregon Dunes, about 4 1/2 miles from North Bend, at the end of Horsfall Beach Rd. Its proximity to the dunes and the Pacific Ocean make it well-suited for OHV activities and beachcombing. It features 35 trailer, auto, OHV sites and two campsites. Basic amenities: potable drinking water, flush toilets, garbage containers, fire rings, and tables at sites on the outer perimeter of the campground. Showers are available two miles east at Horsfall Campground. For reservations or more information: recreation.gov or (877) 444-6777. Open year-round.

Horsfall OHV Campground - Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area

Horsfall OHV Campground is located 1 1/2 miles north of North Bend on Horsfall Beach Road. It has 70 OHV sites with the following amenities: potable drinking water, flush toilets, showers, garbage containers, fire rings, a recycle center, tables, and a loading ramp. The campground is located in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area in Coos County and has direct OHV dune access. For reservations or more information: recreation.gov or (877) 444-6777. Humbug Mountain State Park

Humbug Mountain park is located six miles south of Port Orford on Hwy. 101. The park's centerpiece is Humbug Mountain (elevation 1,756 feet), and hiking to the top is a common activity for visitors. This campground enjoys some of the warmest weather on the Oregon coast because the mountains offer protection from cool ocean winds. Windsurfing and scuba diving are also popular activities enjoyed here. There are 32 electrical and 62 tent (maximum 55 feet) sites available, as well as a hiker/biker camp. Oregon Dunes KOA

The Oregon Dunes KOA is a commercially operated campground located on Highway 101 nine miles north of Coos Bay (at mile marker 229) that has ATV/OHV access to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. In addition to tent and RV sites with full hookups, it offers cabin rentals. Amenities include a camper kitchen, a playground, a laundry, a mini store, WiFi, and Internet access. Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area

The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area extends 40 miles from Coos River to Florence, and from the Pacific Ocean shoreline inland for 2 1/2 miles. It encompasses 10,000 acres of sand dunes and beaches, 30 lakes, 14 hiking trails, 13 campgrounds,11 beach parking areas, and nine day use parks. Spinreel OHV Campground - Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area

Spinreel campground is an OHV campground located next to the Oregon Dunes, alongside Hwy. 101 11 miles south of Reedsport. It has OHV dune access and a trail that leads to the beach. The campground's 36 tent, auto, trailer sites vary in length and privacy. Facilities include potable drinking water, flush toilets, garbage containers, fire rings, a recycle center, and tables. Sunset Bay State Park

Located 12 miles southwest of Coos Bay on Cape Arago Hwy., Sunset Bay State Park features beautiful sandy beaches protected by towering sea cliffs. The campground has sites for tent camping, RV's, and yurts; in all, 29 full hookup, 34 electrical, and 66 tent (maximum 47 feet) sites; eight yurts; a group tent (two areas); and a hiker/biker camp. It has hiking trails that connect it to nearby Shore Acres and Cape Arago State Parks, and Sunset Bay Golf Course abuts the park on its southeast border. Tahkenitch Campground - Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area

Tahkenitch Campground is located 7 1/2 miles north of Reedsport on the west side of Hwy. 101. It has 34 campsites spread out amongst large Douglas fir trees. Facilities: potable drinking water, flush toilets, garbage containers, fire rings, and tables. Activities: Camping, hiking, picnicking, bird-watching. Open May 1 to September 30. Tahkenitch Landing Campground - Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area

Tahkenitch Landing Campground is located 7 1/2 miles south of Reedsport on the east side of Hwy. 101. Its 27 campsites are situated among Douglas fir and spruce trees. There is no water available. Facilities: vault toilets, garbage containers, fire rings, tables, and a boat ramp with boat trailer parking. Activities: camping, boating, fishing, picnicking, and bird-watching. Open year-round. Umpqua Lighthouse State Park

Umpqua Lighthouse State Park is located off Hwy. 101 near Salmon Harbor on Winchester Bay. The campground is centered around Lake Marie, which is available for fishing, swimming, and non-motorized boating. It offers: 20 full hookup sites (maximum 45 feet); 24 tent sites with water nearby; eight yurts (two rustic, six deluxe); and two cabins. Wild Mare Horse Camp - Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area

Wild Mare Horse Camp is located four miles north of North Bend on Horsfall Beach Rd. It has 12 corral sites and one campsite in shorepine, Douglas fir and huckleberry. Facilities: potable drinking water, vault toilets, garbage containers, fire rings, and picnic tables. Activities: dune and beach access for horseback riding—1/2 mile from the Pacific Ocean. William M. Tugman State Park

William M. Tugman State Park is located eight miles south of Reedsport on Hwy. 101. Its natural attributes include Eel Lake and spruce, cedar, fir, and alder forests. The campground offers 94 campsites with electric and water hookups, 16 yurts, and a hiker/biker camp. Activities: hiking, fishing, swimming, and boating. Windy Cove Campgrounds

Windy Cove Campgrounds are located off Hwy. 101 adjacent to Salmon Harbor at Winchester Bay. Camp sites at Windy Cove A are available on a first come, first served basis. Twenty-one hookup sites (out of 40) and eight (out of 29) non-hook-up sites are reservable at Windy Cove B . Activities include fishing, crabbing, boating, hiking, and whale watching.
