Yachats, Oregon

Yachats is a small town (population of less than 700) on the central Oregon coast situated about halfway between Florence to the south and Newport to the north. It is very picturesque and offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean from almost any vantage point. Yachats' economy is primarily tourism driven and features basic services, a smattering of restaurants and shops, and quite a few bed and breakfast inns. Its climate is comparatively mild, with temperatures rarely below 30 degrees or above 80 degrees.
